Vocalist-Nancy Star w/Guitar, Keyboard, Bass, Drums & Horn Section The ensemble however routinely uses other musician line-ups to play a venue.  Currently we have the capabilities to expand the group to up to a seven/eight -piece ensemble.   The musicians of The Nancy Star Quartet are classically trained and educated in many of the top universities in the country…including The University of North Texas and The Berklee College Of Music.  All of the musicians have been performing for many years in the DFW Metroplex.  The musical selections that The Nancy Star Quartet performs are based in many musical styles, including blues, R&B, latin and afro cuban; with our primary focus being on vocal and instrumental jazz.  We welcome input from a venue if a particular style is favored.  If a performance site does not have a sound engineer or system, we can provide our own sound system at no additional cost to the venue.
